When Blessings Make People Forget

There is a kind of person who, the moment they have a little money, a little knowledge, a little status changes.
Not in a growth way. In a forgetting way.
They start carrying themselves like the Universe owes them something. Like they built themselves from scratch. Like they were always this way.
And if you have been on the receiving end of that energy that subtle coldness, that invisible wall, that “I am above this now” vibration you already know how deeply it hurts. Because you knew them before. You saw who they were before the blessings arrived.
Here is what nobody says out loud:
Everything you have right now the money, the recognition, the knowledge, the status none of it belongs to you permanently. It was given. And what was given can be taken back. Not as punishment. But as balance. As the natural law of this Universe doing what it always does.
When you forget the root :the root forgets you. And here is the part people really do not want to hear one day, every single one of us will face our own doing. Every action. Every dismissal. Every moment we made someone feel invisible. The Universe keeps perfect accounts. Not to punish. But because that is simply how this works. Karma is not a concept. It is a law.
Charging for your work is not wrong. Having an attitude is. There is nothing spiritual or noble about giving for free. Your time, your skill, your healing, your knowledge it has value. Charge for it. Charge well for it. But the moment money or recognition makes you look down at another human being you have lost something far more precious than whatever you gained. You have lost your connection to the Source that gave it to you in the first place.
And here is where people get confused.
There is a thin line between setting healthy boundaries and being outright arrogant and most people are not even aware which side they are standing on.
Setting a boundary sounds like, I respect my time, I respect my energy, I choose what I give and to whom. It comes from a place of self-worth. It is quiet. It is clear. It does not need to perform.
Arrogance sounds like I am too important for this. I am above this conversation. You should feel lucky I am even here.
One protects your energy. The other diminishes someone else’s dignity.
And the world right now is very casually labelling arrogance as boundaries.
Coldness as self-respect. Dismissiveness as being selective. But the energy behind it does not lie. You can feel the difference the moment you are in the room with it. One feels safe. The other feels like a door being shut in your face.
Real boundaries do not make others feel small. They simply make you feel whole.
Why does this happen?
Because deep inside, most people do not believe they truly deserve what they have received. So they wear their status like armour. They become cold so they do not have to feel the fear underneath what if this goes away? What if I go back to who I was before?
The attitude is not confidence. It is a wound pretending to be power.
And I say this not just as an observer. I say this as someone who has sat with hundreds of souls in past life sessions.
I have seen it again and again souls who carried this same energy in a past life, who dismissed others, who let recognition and status disconnect them from their humanity come into this life struggling to receive the smallest acknowledgment for anything they do.
They work hard. They give their best. And still, people do not see them. People do not value their efforts. People walk past them like they are invisible.
That is not bad luck. That is the echo of what they once created for others.
And the hardest part? Even after seeing this pattern, even after understanding what is happening and why most people still do not want to change. Still do not want to look inward. Still find it easier to carry the attitude than to do the real work.
Nobody wants to understand this. Until the pain becomes impossible to ignore.
Real abundance does not make you cold. Real abundance makes you softer. More grateful. More grounded. When you are truly secure in what you have built and what you have been blessed with you do not need to make anyone feel small to feel big. You just are.
If this landed somewhere in you either because you have felt this from someone, or because you are honestly asking yourself have I become this then this is your nudge.
Come back to the root. Gratitude. Humility. Remembering where you came from and Who made it possible. That is the only thing that keeps the blessings flowing.
